Field Description
WPA2 encryption modes. The wireless client
establishes the connection between the modem
through WPA or WPA2.
Key differences between WPA and WEP are in
user authentication and improved data encryption.
Set WEP Key
It is available when you set the encryption mode
to WEP. Click it, the Wireless WEP Key Setup
page appears.
WPA Authentication
Mode
Select Personal (Pre-Shared Key), enter the
pre-shared key in the Pre-Shared Key field.
Select Enterprise (RADIUS), enter the port,
IP address, and password of the Radius server.
You need to enter the username and password
provided by the Radius server when the wireless
client connects the modem.
If the encryption is set to WEP, the modem uses
802.1 X authentication, which is Radius
authentication.
Click Set WEP Key, and the page Wireless WEP Key Setup appears. You can
choose a 64-bit or 128-bit encryption key, and select ASCII or Hex format for input
values.
