Why is the DAB ES 1 M Controller motor not fed?
    • M
      Matthew DelgadoAug 5, 2025
The DAB Controller motor may not be fed due to several reasons: the control box protection or differential switch has tripped (check pump cable insulation and reset the protection); there's no voltage on terminals L1-N (check panel cables and switches); the internal transformer protection has tripped (reset by turning off the main switch for three minutes, identify any short circuits); the remote control switch vibrates (supply voltage is insufficient); or there's a fault in the input B connection (remove the fault in the electric connections).

What to do if the DAB Controller protection intervenes?
    • C
      Charles LiAug 11, 2025
If the DAB Controller protection activates, it could be due to a blocked pump impeller (perform maintenance to free it), excessive motor absorption at full load (line voltage outside +/- 10% limits, or bearings need maintenance), or a faulty overload protection (replace the component or control unit).

What to do if the DAB Controller pump continues delivering and doesn't respond to external commands?
    • E
      Edward BarberAug 17, 2025
If the DAB Controller pump continues delivering and doesn't respond to external commands, the pressure switch, level switch, or other device might not be correctly connected to the control unit. Ensure these are correctly connected and check the system operation. If the problem persists, consider replacing the component.

What to do if the DAB ES 1 M pump doesn't deliver, the motor doesn't start, and the lamps HL2 is lit but HL3 is off?
    • M
      Mr. John StaffordAug 23, 2025
If the DAB Controller pump isn't delivering, the motor isn't starting, HL2 is lit, and HL3 is off, it could be due to several reasons: * The electro-probe circuit is inefficient (resistance > 80 k ohm) - change the connections or the electro-probe itself; insert the common electro-probe connected to terminal 18 if the water isn't directly in contact with the earth system. * The electro-probe isn't immersed in water - position it under the water level. * The input remote control circuit at terminals B is open - close the contacts, and check the pressure/level switch. * The microswitch SP1 isn't correctly positioned - position it depending on the number of electro-probes used. * The module M2S is faulty - replace it.

How to fix a DAB ES 1 M remote alarm that is not working?
    • L
      Lisa RobinsonAug 29, 2025
If the DAB Controller remote alarm isn't working, check that the connections correspond to the proposed diagram and make sure that the acoustic or luminous warnings are efficient. If not, change the component.
