CLEANING AND CHANGING THE AIR
CLEANER ELEMENT

(1) Air Cleaner
1. Remove the wing-nut and remove the
cover. Carefully remove the filter
element.
2. Clean the element by blowing the dust
from the inside out using compressed
air. Air pressure should not exceed
30 PSI, and keep the nozzle at a safe
distance to avoid damage to the filter
element.
3. Extremely dirty or oily elements must
be replaced. Replace the element in
accordance with the maintenance
schedule for best performance.
HYDRAULIC OIL FILTER CHANGE

Hydraulic oil filter locations:
DK65: Right rear of tractor, inside of
wheel.
DK75/80/90: Left rear of tractor, in-
side of wheel.
1. Remove the hydraulic oil filter with a
suitable filter wrench.
2. Fill the new filter with clean oil, and
apply a thin film of oil to the o-ring seal.
Carefully install the filter and hand-
tighten.
3. Start the tractor and run for 5 minutes.
Check for leaks and verify that no
warning lights are on.
4. Recheck the oil level and correct level
as needed.
(1) Hydraulic Oil Filter
AIR CLEANER SERVICING PRECAUTIONS
1. Use only genuine replacement filter
elements. Do not use oil in this filter.
2. Carefully clean dust from inside the
air cleaner canister. Be careful not to
allow dust into the air intake.
3. Ensure the filter element is firmly
seated and that the canister cover is
properly aligned and securely
fastened. Any leak in the air cleaner
system may allow dust ingestion
which can cause severe engine
damage.
4. Never operate the engine without the
air cleaner properly installed.
