before attempting to use additives.

Engine oil and its containers can be
hazardous to your health.
• Avoid repeated or prolonged con-
tact with engine oil.
• Clean your skin and nails with
soap and water, or hand cleaner
after handling engine oil. Also
keep this and other toxic materi-
als out of the reach of children.
Engine oil can irritate the skin and
can cause illness and even death if
swallowed.
Severe conditions include, but are not
limited to:
• Frequent cold starts.
• Considerable travel in stop-and-go
traffic.
• Frequent short trips.
• Frequent driving when outside tem-
perature remains below freezing.
• Prolonged idling.
• Frequent low-speed driving.
• Driving in dusty areas.
