No Continue with the next step.
5 Measure the operating voltage on the contactor.
Is the measured operating voltage of
the backup heater contactor correct?

Yes Replace the specific backup heater
contactor(s), see "Repair
procedures"[4108].
No Check for the reason of faulty operating
voltage (broken wiring, faulty contact,
…), see "6.2Wiring diagram"[4314].

Repair procedures
To remove the backup heater
Prerequisite: Stop the unit operation via the user interface.
Prerequisite: Turn OFF the respective circuit breaker.
Prerequisite: Remove the required plate work, see "3.17Plate work"[4230].
1 Drain water from the water circuit, see "4.3.2Repair procedures"[4302].
2 Remove the backup heater thermal protector, see "Repair
procedures"[4123].
3 Unscrew and remove the air purge valve. Keep for reuse.
4 Loosen and remove the screw from the pipe clamp.
