8. Removal of Fan Motor
Procedure Warning Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power
supplies before disassembling work.
Step Procedure Points

Release the fan motor
lead wires from the
hooks.
Preparation
Remove the drain pan unit
according to the “Removal of
Drain Pan Unit / Swing
Motor.”
You can remove the fan
motor with the indoor heat
exchanger left.

Loosen the screw of the
fan rotor.
3
Remove the 2 screws
of the fan motor fixing
plate.
