Determine other safety
measure.
Do NOT use external alarm safety measure in
the following cases:
1. SV unit installed in all other floors of a
building
2. SV unit installed in an occupied space
where people are restricted in their
movement
Connect an external alarm (field supply) to the
SVS output of the SV unit. This alarm must warn
audibly AND visibly and must be 15 dBA above
the background sound level at all times.
Determine total room area (= total area of the
space with natural ventilation and the space in
which the SV unit is installed).
The partition between two rooms on the same
floor MUST meet one of the two requirements
for natural ventilation.
Derive total refrigerant charge limit.
Alarm system must additionally
warn at a supervised location
with 24-hour monitoring.
Pressure inside the SV unit (P

Select a fan with the selected airflow and
calculated pressure capacity.
Make field settings in the SV unit accordingly
