How to Install
" Final Set-Up and Test
To test the set-up and ensure that the adjustable frequency drive is running, follow these steps.
Step 1. Locate the motor nameplate.
NOTE
The m otor is either star- (Y) or delta-
connected (∆). This information is locate d
on the m otor nameplate data.
Step 2. Enter the motor nam epl a te data
in this parameter list.
To access this list, first press the [QUICK MENU]
key then select “Q2 Quick Setup”.

Step 3. Activate the Automatic Moto r Adapta tion (A MA)
Performing an AMA will ensur
e optimum performance. The AMA measures the values
from the motor model equivalent diagram.
1. Connect terminal 37 to te rm inal 12.
2. Start the adjustable frequency drive and activate the AMA par. 1-29.
3. Choose between complete or r
educed AMA. If an LC filter is mounted, run only the reduced
AMA, or remove the LC filter during the AMA procedure.
4. Pressthe[OK]key. Thedisplayshows“Press[Handon]tostart”.
5. Press the [Hand on] key. A p
rogress bar indicates if the AMA is in p rogress.
