How to fix a dark or non-functioning display on a Danfoss 102 Media Converter?
    • A
      Anthony GuzmanJul 26, 2025
If the display on your Danfoss Media Converter is dark or not functioning, there are several potential causes. First, check the input power source. Also, inspect the fuses or circuit breaker. If those aren't the issue, the LCP might not be getting power, in which case you should replace the faulty LCP or connection cable. Ensure there isn't a shortcut on the control voltage (terminal 12 or 50) or at the control terminals by checking the wiring. Confirm that you are using the correct LCP (LCP 101 (P/N 130B1124) or LCP 102 (P/N 130B1107)). Adjust the contrast by pressing [Status] + [?]/[?]. Finally, the display (LCP) may be defective, so replace the faulty LCP or connection cable. For an internal voltage supply fault or defective SMPS, contact your supplier.

What to do if the display on my Danfoss 102 Media Converter is intermittent?
    • T
      Tommy BarrAug 10, 2025
An intermittent display on your Danfoss Media Converter can be caused by an overloaded power supply (SMPS) due to improper control wiring or a fault within the frequency converter. If the display stays lit, the problem is likely in the control wiring, so check for shorts or incorrect connections. If the display continues to cut out, follow the procedure for a dark display.
