What to do if the trigger LED is not blinking in One Shot or Phase Mode using the External Trigger on Datalogic Industrial Equipment?
    • P
      patrickchapmanDec 1, 2025
If the "TRIGGER" LED is not blinking while the External Trigger is switching in One Shot or Phase Mode using Input 1 (External Trigger) or Input 2 on your Datalogic Industrial Equipment, check the following: Determine if you're referring to the 17-pin connector or the CBX spring clamp connectors. Verify if the sensor is connected to Input 1 or Input 2. Ensure power is supplied to the photo sensor. For NPN configuration, check if power is supplied to one of the two I1 or I2 signals (A or B). For PNP configuration, verify if one of the two I1 or I2 signals is grounded (A or B). Check if the photo sensor LEDs (if any) are working correctly. Ensure the sensor/reflector system is aligned (if present). On the Reading Phase step, check the Input 1 or Input 2 Debouncing Time parameter setting. Als...

    • L
      Laurie RodriguezAug 25, 2025
To resolve issues with incorrect, corrupted, or incomplete data being transferred to the host from your Datalogic Industrial Equipment, ensure that the host serial port settings match the reader's settings. In DL.CODE, check the Header and Terminator String parameters in the Data Formatting step. Also, review the various Message Field parameter settings in the Data Formatting step.

What to do if Datalogic Industrial Equipment always transmits the No Read Message?
    • K
      kgrossAug 26, 2025
To address the issue of the Datalogic Industrial Equipment reader always transmitting the No Read Message, follow these steps: Run the Rapid Configuration procedure. Position the reader as described in "Mounting And Positioning Matrix 320". Through DL.CODE, tune the Acquisition Delay on Trigger if the moving code is out of the reader's field of view. Set the Continuous Operating Mode if no external trigger source is available. Tune the Image Settings to improve the code image quality. Check the parameter settings in the Advanced Setup step for 2D Codes, 1D Codes, and Postal Codes. View the full resolution code image to check the printing or marking quality.

    • D
      Daniel EllisAug 26, 2025
If the "POWER" LED is not lit on your Datalogic Industrial Equipment, check the following: Is the power connected? If you're using a power adapter (like PG6000), is it connected to the wall outlet? If using rail power, does the rail have power? If using a CBX, does it have power (check the switch and LED)? Determine whether you're using the M12 17-pin connector or the CBX spring clamp connectors. Measure the voltage either at pin 1 and pin 2 (for the 17-pin connector) or at the spring clamp Vdc and GND (for CBX).

      Andres RomanSep 15, 2025
Check the settings for Acquisition Trigger, Reading Phase-ON, and Reading Phase-OFF parameters on the Reading Phase step. Ensure the COM port parameters (Baud Rate, Parity, Data Bits, Stop Bits) are correctly assigned. Verify the settings of Acquisition Trigger String, Reading Phase-ON String, and Reading Phase-OFF String parameters on the Reading Phase step. Also, confirm the serial trigger source is correctly connected.
