  The barcode reader may not be transmitting to the host due to several reasons. Ensure that the serial cable wiring is correct. If you are using a CBX, make sure the RS485 termination switch is OFF. Also, verify that the host serial port settings match the reader serial port settings. In the VisiSet™ Digital I/O folder, the "COM" LED can be configured to indicate MAIN COM port TX or MAIN COM port RX.

  If the reader consistently transmits a 'No Read Message', perform the Rapid Configuration procedure. Position the reader correctly, and if the moving code is out of the reader's view, adjust the ACQUISITION TRIGGER DELAY. If an external trigger isn't available, set the Continuous Operating Mode. Enhance the code image quality by tuning the IMAGE ACQUISITION SETTING. Finally, review the parameter settings in the Decoding, 2D Codes, 1D Codes, and Postal Codes folders, and view the full resolution code image to assess the printing or marking quality.

How to fix Datalogic Barcode Reader when the power LED is not lit?

  If the POWER LED is not lit, check the following: Ensure the power is connected. If using a power adapter (like PG6000), verify it's connected to the wall outlet. If using rail power, confirm the rail has power. If using CBX, check its power switch and LED. Determine whether you are using the 25-pin connector or the CBX spring clamp connectors. Measure the Voltage at pin 13 and pin 25 (for the 25-pin connector) or at the spring clamp Vdc and GND (for CBX).

Why is the TRIGGER LED not blinking in One Shot or Phase Mode on my Datalogic Barcode Reader?

  If the TRIGGER LED is not blinking, check the settings for Reading Phase-ON, Acquisition Trigger and Reading Phase-OFF parameters in the Operating Mode folder. Verify that the COM port parameters (Baud Rate, Parity, Data Bits, Stop Bits, Handshake) are correctly assigned. Also, in the communication folder, check the settings of Reading Phase-ON String, Acquisition Trigger String and Reading Phase-OFF String parameters. Ensure the serial trigger source is correctly connected.
