Step1:Tu rnonpowertothe MP6000MD,thesourceandthem onitor.
Step2:Pressthe“POWER”button,toturnontheMP6000MD.Theword“MP6000”andthen
“BOOT”willappearonthedisplaywindow.Afteracoupleseconds,itwillpresent“NODisc”
thatmeansthetrayisempty.Pleaseplaceadisconthetray.
N ote:TheupperrightwindowontheTVscreenwillshowtwolinesofdata.Oneisthe
statusoftheunit,theotheroneistheinputformatsetting.
Step3:Pressthe“EJECT”butt ononce,thetraywillcomeout,theword“OPEN”appearsinthe
window.PleaseputtheDVD+RorRWdiscwiththeprintingsurfaceup,andthenpressthe
“EJECT”buttonagain.ThetraywillreturnintotheMP6000MD.
Step4:Theword'Read ing'appearsonthescreen,intheupperrightcorner;thismeansthe
MP6000MDisreadingthedisc.Ifthedisccontainspreviousrecordings,itwillbedetected
duringthereadprocess.Ifthereisarecordingpresentyoucanpressthe“PLAY”keyandplay
outtheprogramimmediately.
Step5:Ifitisablank/brandnewdisc,theMP6000MDwillstarttheformattingprocess
immediately.A windowwillappearsaying“FORMATTING.”Theentireprocesswilltake
approximately20second.

Step6:Findthe“VIDEOINPUT”u ndertheMENUbuttontochoosetheinputsignalsource.
Step7:Findthe“VIDEOSTANDARD”undertheMENUbuttontochoosetheproperv ideo
standard,NTSCorPAL.
Step8:Findthe“RECORD QUALITY”underthe MENUbuttontochooseHQ/SP/LP/EP/SLP
recordquality.Oncethisisse tyoucanstartrecording.
Step9:Befo reyoustarttorecord,youcanadjustvideoin putsourcequalitybyusingthecolor
processoroftheMP6000MD.
