5.5 Monthly maintenance
Performing monthly maintenance will ensure the quality of your
beverages and a proper operation of the machine.
For monthly maintenance follow these steps:
1. Open the door (on page 46) of the machine.
2.
Clean the mixing system (on page 58).
3.
Remove and clean the brewer (on page 66).
4.
Clean brewer with cleaning tablet (on page 70).
5.
Clean waste bucket (on page 51).
6.
Clean the drip tray (on page 56).
7.
Clean the cup stand (on page 52) in the door.
8.
Clean the waste bin in the base cabinet (on page 54)
9.
Deep clean the cold water outlet nozzle — optional (on page
82).
10. Fill up the cup dispenser (see Fill up the cup dispenser —
optional on page 78)
11. Clean the canisters (on page 80).
12. Fill up the ingredient canisters (on page 84).
13.
Enter canister ingredient levels — optional (on page 90).
14. Close the door (on page 46).
15. Clean the outside of the machine (on page 91).
16. Clean the touchscreen (on page 92).
17.
Check correct functioning by taking a test beverage.
Each step is described in detail in the next sections.
NOTE
Increase the brewer cleaning frequency, if the coffee machine
dispenses a lot of coffee related beverages every day.
