Network software ports needed to support DLm operations
This section describes about requirement of network software ports to support DLm
operations.
DLm software uses many protocols and standard network ports to support various
monitoring and configuration services. If your network configuration requires that
firewalls exist between DLm systems, ensure that the networking environment into
which you introduce DLm systems provides access to these networking ports and
protocols. Common uses for these network ports are for access:

Between the DLm and the SRS gateways

To user interfaces such as:

DLm Console
n
Data Domain system manager
