DLm8500 with DD Multiple Rack Solution configuration
This section provides an overview of DD multiple rack solution configuration.
A DLm8500 Multiple Rack Solution configuration is composed of:
l
A VTEC cabinet
l
Up to two Data Domain (DD) cabinets (DD6800, DD9300, or DD9800)
DLm supports DAEs with 2 TB, 3 TB, or 4 TB drives.
CAUTION
The DLm8500 VTEC and Data Domain cabinet equipment enclosures
and power systems are designed to support DLm8500 system equipment only.
Dell EMC does not support any other components in these cabinets, and
recommends that you do not install any additional equipment in the DLm8500
cabinets.
