This chapter describes how to remove the printer's optional memory card.
The optional memory card must be removed and carefully packed to avoid damage if the printer is shipped.
1. Ensure that the printer is turned off and unplug all the cables including the power cord from the rear of the printer.
2. Turn the screw on the memory cover in a counter-clockwise direction.
3. Slide the memory cover towards the back of the printer.
4. Open the memory cover halfway until it stops, and then slide it again towards the back of the printer.
5. Open the memory cover completely.
6. Push the clips on both sides of the slot outward to raise the memory card up.
