CHAPTER 8: CENTER CONTROL COVER
Replacing the Center Control Cover
Follow the instructions in “Before You Begin” on page 1. 6.
Slide the cable into the center control cover connector and pull down the 2.
connector latch to secure the cable to the connector.
Align the center control cover with the computer and snap the cover in 3.
place.
Turn the computer over and replace the two screws that secure the center 4.
control cover to the computer base.
Replace the compartment door (see “Replacing the Compartment Door” on 5.
page 14).
Replace the battery pack (see “Replacing the Battery Pack” on page 6. 11).
CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure
that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may
result in damage to the computer.
