PERC
This is a service technician replaceable part only.
Removing the adapter PERC
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in the Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure listed in the Before working inside your system.
3. Remove the air shroud.
4. Disconnect all the cables, observe the cable routing.
NOTE: The adapter PERC option is only available with 12 x 3.5-inch SAS/SATA backplane configuration.
Steps
1. Disconnect the SAS cables from the rear adapter PERC and rotate the PCIe holder.
2. Pull out the adapter PERC from the PCIe slot 1 on the system board.
