Procedure
1 Disconnect the fan cable from the system board.
2 Remove the two screws (M2.5x5) that secure the fan to the palm rest and keyboard board assembly.
3 Remove the display cable from the routing guides on the fan.
4 Lift the fan o the palm rest and keyboard board assembly.
