16. Remove the system board.
NOTE: The system board can be removed or installed together with the heat sink attached. This simplifies the
procedure and avoids breaking the thermal bond between the system board and the heat sink.
17. Remove the keyboard.
The following image shows the palmrest.
After performing the steps in the pre-requisites, you are left with the palmrest.
Installing the palmrest
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
The following image shows the palmrest.
Place the palmrest on a clean, dry, and flat surface.
