Removing the coin-cell battery
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the base cover.
3. Remove the 3-cell battery or the 4-cell battery, whichever applicable.

Steps
1. Disconnect the LED daughter-board flexible flat cable and coin-cell battery cable from the respective connectors on the
system board.
2. Using a plastic scribe, pry the coin-cell battery off its slot on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
