Removing the Status-Light Board
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove:
a. SD card
b. battery
c. base cover
d. keyboard trim
e. keyboard
f. memory
g. optical drive
h. hard drive
i. WLAN card
j. display hinge
k. palmrest
l. system fan
m. ExpressCard cage
n. system board
o. speakers
3. Perform the following steps:
a. Remove the LED cover.
b. Disconnect the status-light board cable and remove the screw that secures the status-light
board.
c. Lift and remove the status-light board from the computer.
Installing the Status-Light Board
1. Place the status-light board on its place on the computer.
2. Connect the status-light board cable to its connector.
3. Tighten the screw to secure the status-light board on the computer.
