Removing the drive cage
Prerequisites
1 Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2 Follow the procedure listed in Before working inside your system.
3 Remove the drives.
4 Remove the drive backplane.
Steps
1 Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screws securing the drive cage to the system.
2 Holding the drive cage by its edges, slide the drive cage to the unlock position and lift it away from the system.
