1. Install the backplane to the drive plane.
2. Install the drives.
3. Follow the procedure listed in After working inside your system.

Removing the optical drive blank
Prerequisites
1. Follow the safety guidelines listed in Safety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure that is listed in Before working inside your system .
3. If installed, remove the front bezel.
Steps
Press the release tab and slide the optical drive blank out of the system.
