Replace the cooling fan.
Installing a cooling fan
The procedure for installing a standard and a high-performance fan is identical.

NOTE:
Opening or removing the system cover when the system is on may expose you to a risk of electric shock. Exercise

tmost care while removing or installing cooling fans.
CAUTION:
T
he cooling fans are hot swappable. To maintain proper cooling while the system is on, replace only
one fan at a time.

ollow the safety guidelines listed in S
afety instructions.
2. Follow the procedure that is listed in Before working inside your system .
Steps
Align and lower the cooling fan into the cooling fan assembly until the fan clicks into place.
