Removing the WLAN antenna
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the side cover.
3. Remove the front bezel.
4. Remove the WLAN card.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the WLAN antenna module and provide a visual representation of the removal
procedure.
Steps
1. Remove the antenna cables from the routing guides on the chassis.
2. Unroute the antenna cables through the recess on the front of the chassis.
3. Remove the two (M3x3) screws that secures the WLAN antenna to the chassis.
