Input-Output board
Removing the Input-Output board
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
a. battery
b. optical drive
c. keyboard
d. base cover
e. hard drive assembly
3. To remove the Input/Output board (I/O board):
a. Disconnect the I/O board cable [1].
b. Remove the (M2L3) screw and lift I/O board from the computer [2, 3].
Installing the Input-Output board
1. Place the I/O board on the computer.
2. Connect the input/output (I/O board) cable and tighten the (M2L3) screw.
3. Install the:
a. hard drive assembly
b. base cover
c. keyboard
