Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer
2. Remove the SD memory card
3. Remove the optical drive assembly
4. Remove the base cover
5. Disconnect the battery cable from the connector on the system board.
6. Remove the WLAN
7. Remove the system fan
8. Remove the display assembly
Steps
1. Open the latch and disconnect the power button board cable from the system [1].
2. Peel the conductive tape off the power button board [2].
3. Remove the single (M2x2) screw that secures the power button board to the palmrest and keyboard assembly [3].
