4 Temperature Measurement Module DVP04PT-E2
Application 2:
If
the heater or cooler you are using is controlled by voltage or current, you can read out the output percentage
(0~100%) from DVP04PT-E2 and adopt analog output function provided by DVP04DA-E2. Please refer to the
wiring method below:
TC/PTPLC

Example
:
Connect the sensor to CH1 of DVP04PT-E2 and couple PLC with analog output module DVP04DA-E2. Connect
the heater/cooler with voltage/current output channel of DVP04DA-E2. Output range of heater/cooler: 0V~10V
(0~32000)
PLC program description
1. Read CR#131 (CH1 output percentage)
2. Calculate the analog output value. Analog output value = 32000 × CR#131 / 1000 (unit: 0.1%) = 32 × D10.
3. Sent the obtained value to D9910 for DVP04DA-E2 to control voltage/current output so as to control the
heater/cooler.
4. Program:
M2
FROM K0 K131 D10
K1
MUL K32 D10 D12
MOV D12 D9910
5. The relation between digital input and output voltage:

2. Cyclic Control Mode (CR: output width, output cycle)
If the heater or cooler you are using is controlled by a power switch (On/Off), other than percentage control
mode you can also read two control registers (CR) from the DVP04PT-E2 module and adopt GPWM
instruction as a cyclic control. Please refer to the wiring method below:

CR (output cycle. Unit: ms)
