Check operation of each device.
(AMP source : BD / Video input of player : 480P / Connect the TV.)
Check operation of U1(ADV3002).
Check operation of IC9(ADV7623)
(20) Check power supply.
Are 5V or 3.3V supplied to U1 (each power supply pin)?
Refer to [Detail C] of the substrate for test point.
(21) Check RESET.
Is RESET waveform conrmed in U1 (36pin), when the power is turned on?(If
the waveform is not the reference waveform, proceed to NO.)
(25) Check xtal oscillator.
Is oscillation of XTAL1(28.6363MHz) transmitted?
(23) Check output signal.
Is TMDS waveform conrmed in 25pin/26pin/28pin/29pin/31pin/32pin/34pin/35pin.
Is communication waveform of DDC_SCL/DDC_SDA conrmed in
67pin/68pin? (If the waveform is not the reference waveform, proceed to NO.)
(22) Check Control signal (I2C).
Is waveform conrmed in TP[HSCL/HSDA], when the power is turned on? (If
the waveform is not the reference waveform, proceed to NO.)
(26) Check RESET.
Is RESET waveform conrmed in IC9 (97pin), when the power is turned on? (If
not reference waveform, proceed to "NO".)
The pattern and circuit from the HDMI connector (JACK6) to the IC(IC9) is
defective, or HDMI output circuitry is defective (IC9 and surrounding circuitry).
Replace the IC9.
(24) Check power supply.
Are 1.8V or 3.3V supplied to IC9(each power supply pin)?
Refer to [Detail D] of the substrate for test point.
The power supply circuitry is defective.
The power supply circuitry is defective.
The RESET circuitry (Q7 and surrounding
circuitry) or U1 is defective.
The XTAL1 or IC9 is defective.
Replace the new parts.
The U1 is defective.
The pattern is defective of the HSCL/HSDA
line.
The RESET circuitry (Q18 and surrounding
circuitry) or IC9 is defective.
Replace the new parts.
