Cleaning the single / multiple use tubing system
Multiple use tubes must be cleaned every day, or after each patient� Single use tubes must
be replaced every day, or after each patient�
Cleaning the continuous filling kit
Preparation: Before cleaning, the continuous filling kit must be taken apart�
Please note that the nozzle needle cannot be removed, as it is permanently
connected to the valve unit!
- Remove the continuous filling kit (2) from the nebuliser chamber (3) and pull out the con-
nectors (1)
- Undo the screws (4) far enough that the float can be removed
- Carefully remove the float (5) from the valve unit (6)
Procedure: The individual parts of the continuous filling kit can be cleaned and disinfected
in accordance with the details in the following table� Please note the following points:
- The parts must be cleaned and then dried before they are disinfected�
- Dirt particles can become encapsulated and this can lead to the device parts not being
sterile after disinfection� Therefore, before disinfection, all device parts must be cleaned
properly and any stubborn marks must be removed with a cloth and detergent�
- When using disinfectant, please follow the manufacturers’ advice and that of hygiene
experts�
