2.2.2 WiFi pro 1750e as WDS bridge
Wireless bridging is the wireless connection of Wi-Fi
networks and is used to expand network coverage.
WDS (Wireless Distribution System) is a process for
data addressing in accordance with the IEEE 802.11
standard.
Figure 3 shows two different Wi-Fi networks, which are
connected to each other via WDS using two
WiFi pro 1750e or to the Internet router.
To ensure optimal and reliable functionality of
the WiFi pro 1750e, the device has to be op-
erated in Wi-Fi networks consisting of
devolo WiFi pro devices.
