10. Turn the propeller slowly by hand in the direction of rotation for several times.
NOTE
Look especially for signs of abnormal sounds, excessive
resistance or lack of compression.
CAUTION
Do not turn the propeller against the direction of rotation.
11. Check free travel of the throttle valve between stops.
12. Inspect exhaust system for damage, signs of leakage and poor condition.
NOTE
Use lower cowling outlet for inspecting the exhaust muffler
and lower parts of the engine.
13. Inspect general condition of the engine and its installation through the inspection
holes. Look especially for signs of mechanical and thermal damages.
14. Check the engine for coolant, fuel or oil leakage.
15. Close both inspection covers.
16. Drain water from the fuel tank
