3.2 ENGINE FAILURES
3.2.1 ENGINE FAILURE ON GROUND
(a) Starter Does Not Disengage / START Warning Light ON
Starter does not disengage after starting the engine (continuous whining sound audible
and START warning light ON).
1. START button........................ release, immediately
2. Throttle ............................. IDLE
3. ENGINE MASTER .................... OFF
4. ELECTRIC MASTER .................. OFF
5. Terminate flight preparation.
END OF CHECKLIST
(b) Loss of Oil Pressure
1. Stop the engine immediately.
2. ENGINE MASTER .................... OFF
3. ELECTRIC MASTER .................. OFF
4. Terminate flight preparation.
END OF CHECKLIST
(c) Exceeding the Maximum Manifold Temperature
1. Alternate Air ......................... Check, closed
2. Throttle ............................ Increase slightly until manifold
temperature is in green range
