3.7.3 GENERATOR FAILURE
NOTE
A generator failure can be detected by:
- Illumination of low VOLTAGE warning light
- negative Ammeter current.
1. All non-flight essential electrical consumers
(especially lights and pitot heat) .......... OFF
2. Land on the next suitable airfield.
CAUTION
If any generator fails the airframe electrical system is
automatically cut-off from the generator. The battery is the
remaining source for the airframe electrical system for a
minimum of 30 minutes.
NOTE
In case of failure of the remaining generator expect imminent
engine stoppage. For re-start proceed with 3.3 ENGINE RE-
START IN FLIGHT.
