3.11.5 SUSPICION OF CARBON MONOXIDE CONTAMINATION IN THE CABIN
Carbon monoxide (CO) is a gas which is developed during the combustion process. It
is poisonous and without smell. Increased concentration of carbon monoxide gas can
be fatal. The occurrence of CO in the cabin is possible only due to a defect. If a smell
similar to exhaust gases is noticed in the cabin, the following measures should be taken:
1. Cabin heat & defrost ................... OFF
2. Ventilation........................... open
3. Emergency windows ................... open

3.11.6 INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTING FAILURE
1. Rocker switch, map light................ ON
2. Dimming control ...................... turn fully clockwise
3. Lighting circuit breaker ................. reset if necessary
If NOT Successful:
Use flashlight.
Expect electrical power failure. Refer to 3.7 - ELECTRICAL FAILURES.
