D After this the units have to be recalibrated; so recalibrate the ‘Applicator height’, the
‘Product Level’ and ‘Move Height’ for each of the units 1 till 4 (when mounted).
4.9 Setting-up the weight scales
Two different weight scales may be connected to the your HybridC. First they differ in weight
range, but that is of no consequence regarding the configuration. The most important
differences between the two is that they are different models which have different displays
and that they need to be configured in a different way. Important is that the settings in the PC
match the settings in the weight scale.
4.9.1 Settings
The following configuration settings are needed to match in both the weight scales as well as
in the PC. Normally on delivery of the option(s) ex works this is already set.
Matching configuration settings
Baud rate 9600
Parity even
Data bits 8 bit
Stop bit 1 bit
Handshake/Hardware Protocol Hardware
4.9.2 Setting-up the Com Parameters
At a 82 basic scale: following figure shows the entry sequence on the LCD display.
NOTE: The scale is started by pushing the button. Here you have to enter the
password, this is the FAB. NR. (machine number) as is shown on the display at start-up.
The FAB. NR. is also the ‘Fabriknr.’ as shown on the label on the housing over and left of
