Other possible causes include failure to operate primer pump (push 7 to 10 times), low pulling speed of the starter rope (pull strongly), lack of fuel (feed fuel), a clogged fuel filter (clean it), a broken fuel tube (straighten it), or deteriorated fuel (replace with new fuel). Also check for a detached plug cap (attach securely), a contaminated spark plug (clean it), or abnormal spark plug clearance (adjust clearance) or other spark plug abnormality (replace it).
