When Required
You must read and understand the warnings and instructions contained in the Safety section of this manual,
before performing any operation or maintenance procedures.
Fuel Tank Filter Cap and Screen (If
Equipped) - Clean
Park the lift truck with the forks lowered, parking
brake applied, transmission in neutral and the
engine stopped.
1. Remove the filter cap assembly. Clean in clean,
nonflammable solvent.
2. Dry cap assembly.
3. Install filter cap assembly.
WARNING
Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or
electrical components can cause a fire.
4. Drain moisture and sediment from fuel tank as
required by prevailing conditions.
Seat, Hood Latch & Support
Cylinder - Check, Lubricate
1. Check the operation of the seat adjuster rod.
Make sure that the seat slides freely on its
track.
Lightly oil the seat slider tracks if necessary.
2. Push the lever down to raise the hood and seat
assembly. Make certain the support cylinder will
hold the hood open.
(Note: Unlock latch before pulling it - if key
equipped)

3. Lightly oil the hood latch mechanism and the
rod for the hood support cylinder.
