Explanation
EPS DCW
– behavior following
a mains reset
0 – 1
0
In the event of a power failure or if the drive is deliberately switched
off, the program switch is automatically switched to the last known
position when the power returns.
Important: The time at which the power returns may also be outside
of business hours and therefore influence the insurance-compliant
locking process.
1 In the event of a power failure or if the drive is deliberately switched
off, the program switch is automatically switched to the OFF position
when the power returns. This function should be used if insurance-
compliant locking is required.
Internal program
switch
– switch-on delay
0 – 1
0
The function of the internal program switch is immediately taken over
once the drive has been switched over.
1 The function is taken over with a delay of 10 s once the internal
program switch has been switched over. This function makes
sense if the PGS has to be converted and the person has to pass
the door through the standard detectors following the conversion. An
additional Night/Bank pushbutton; not required.
Unlocking during
business hours
0 – 1
0
The door is always locked when the “closed” position is reached.
1 In automatic operation mode the door is not locked when the
“closed position” is reached. The locking feedback contact remains
permanently switched. This achieves faster opening in conjunction
with motor locks. If an e-opener is used, this opener must be suitable
for 100% duty factor to eliminate the possibility of damage.
Status relay
function
0 – 6 0 The status relay is deactivated.
1
The status relay is switched as soon as the set “closed” position has
been reached.
2 The status relay is switched as soon as the set “open” position has
been reached.
3 Malfunction. All malfunctions that result in a message on the internal
display are reported to the status relay via the output.
4 Door closed and locked.
5 Malfunction or information
All malfunctions or information that result(s) in a message on the
internal display are reported to the status relay via the output.
6 The status relay is switched when the door is open further than the
“status contact angle” parameter. The parameter value can only be
changed using a hand-held device.
Control unit
output 1g, with the
input 4/4a
0 – 1
0
Output 1G is independent of contact 4/4a.
1 The locking device output (terminal 1G) switches as soon as contact
4/4a is opened. The contact switches permanently, so it is essentially
required for using an e-opener with 100% duty factor, e.g. a
quiescent current opener. This function is not active for motor locks
via DCW.
Cycle counter
0 – 99 10,000
cycles
The display is shown in increments of 10,000 cycles.
For example: Display shows 4 = 40,000 cycles, display shows 53
= 530,000 cycles. The value can be precisely displayed with the
DORMA hand-held terminal.
A value of 99 on the internal display means 990,000 or more.
Delete error log
0 – 1
0
No function.
1 The error log is deleted.
The parameter is then automatically reset to 0.
Trigger the hold-
open system by
releasing the door
leaf
0 – 1
1
Function activated. If the drive is run as a hold-open system, manual
triggering from the learned keep-open position can take place by
manually closing the door leaf by 10° (+/- 2°). No manual release
pushbutton is required.
0 Function deactivated. If the drive is run as a hold-open system, a
manual release pushbutton is essential for manual triggering.
