16 Firmware versions
Parameter descriptions incorporate firmware
versions 1.7, 1.8, and 1.9.
Notation is made in each parameter description of
applicable firmware version implementation.
ED100 / ED250 serial number can be found on the
information label on the drive unit gearbox cover.
ED100 / ED250 serial numbers – firmware versions
Version 1.7 – valid from serial number:
ED250 EU/US: BB0524 XXXXXX
ED100 EU/US: BB0525 XXXXXX
Version 1.8 – valid from serial number:
ED250 EU/US: BD0421 XXXXXX
ED100 EU/US: BD0421 XXXXXX
Version 1.9 – valid from serial number:
ED250 EU/US: BF0127 XXXXXX

Firmware updates
Firmware updates can be accomplished using the Dorma
handheld terminal. Reference user manual for instructions.
17 Changing parameters
Following steps are required to access parameterization mode
and change one or more parameters.
Set both internal program switches
to OFF position: "O" and "O".

PRG
>3s
LEARN
>8s
Fact-Setup
1.
Press button for > 3 seconds (PRG) to
call up parameter menu.
2.
Press button to scroll through and select
desired parameter.
or
3.
Press button to display parameter value.
4.
To change value, press button until value
flashes.
5.
Toggle up (increase) or down (decrease)
button to obtain desired parameter value.
or
6.
Press button to save adjusted value (value
stops flashing).
7.
Press button to return to parameter menu.
8.
Toggle up or down button to scroll
through and select next parameter.
or
9.
To exit parameter menu, press button for
< 3 seconds.
After exiting parameterization mode, display shows
a small, rotating “o” and a “O”. Display indicates
operator is ready for a learning cycle.
