Meaning / cause Troubleshooting
In 73
None Braking circuit test
System could not successfully perform
cyclical test (performed every 24 hours) of
internal braking circuit.
Braking circuit test is influenced by system
tolerances and by environmental conditions; for these
reasons the cyclical test cannot always be successfully
completed the first time. An information message (ln 73)
is then displayed.
Cyclical test may fail, for example, if someone uses door
while cyclical test is in progress.
If cyclical test fails ten times in a row, error message
E 73 is displayed.
In 91
None DCW® communication
At least one registered DCW® device is
missing.
Reconnect corresponding DCW® device.
If this is not possible, a restart of operator must be
performed:
Press and hold and on user interface for >3 seconds.

Locking device error
Operator is attempting to open or close a
locking device with feedback, or a DC
locking device.
An error has occurred during this process.
It is probable that locking device is defective, or there is
an error in wiring.
Locking device feedback system must be checked and
replaced if necessary.
E 03
Flashing

times
DCW program switch missing
Check and replace, if necessary, the DCW program switch.

Safety sensor test error
Test of moving safety sensors was
unsuccessful:
A test signal is sent to the corresponding
sensors before each door opening or closing
cycle, operator then waits for a response for
a certain period of time.
Check whether “safety sensor test” parameter ST has been
configured according to the respective sensor equipment.
Check whether test signal is also activated on sensors
themselves and is being operated at same level.
Test is switched off when sensors respond.
E 12
Flashing

EEPROM error
Internal memory check was not completed
successfully.
Operator is working in door closer mode.
Upload current firmware in order to reinitialize system.
If this fails, the control unit must be replaced.
E 13
Flashing
13 times
Overcurrent recognition
Greater motor current is being supplied
than control unit's power supply unit is
designed to provide.
The motor is consuming too much current or control unit’s
power amplifier is defective.
If this error message appears repeatedly, the motor gear
unit or control unit components must be replaced.
E 15
Flashing
15 times
Faulty learning cycle
Learning cycle could not be completed.
Error may occur if learning cycle has been interrupted, for
example if door movement has been interrupted during the
process.
Learning cycle must be restarted.
E 25
Flashing

SVP DCW PR module
(power reserve module)
The test was negative.
Check wiring and replace the PR module if necessary.

Incremental encoder error
Motor gear unit incremental encoders
monitoring feature has detected a faulty
status.
Check incremental encoder and motor plug connections for
short circuits.
Check locking device’s electric circuit for short circuits.
Error may be due to a defective motor encoder.
If motor encoder is defective, motor gear unit must be
replaced.
If no error can be found, motor gear unit must be replaced.
E 62

Firmware version incompatibility– second
system
Second system has a firmware version that
is incompatible with double-door operation.
Equip both control units with same firmware version.
E 63
Flashing

Fire protection setting incompatibility –
second system
Second system has an incompatible fire
protection setting.
If using double-door systems, Fire Protection upgrade card
must be installed on both control units.
