Why won't my DR Lawn and Garden Equipment engine start manually?

Several factors can prevent the engine from starting. Ensure the Spark Plug Wire is attached, the Bag is properly installed and latched, and the Bag Presence Interlock Switch is depressed. Also, check the oil and gas levels. Old gas may be the issue, so replace it and use a fuel stabilizer if storing gas for over a month. Inspect the Throttle adjustment and travel. A dirty or cracked Spark Plug should be replaced. Finally, a dirty Air Filter should be replaced following the procedure in the Engine Owner’s Manual.
