When external voltage is connected:
The green DC power status LED lights up
regardless of whether the ventilator is switched on
or off. The internal battery pack is now being
charged.
Display while ventilator is switched off:
It takes approximately 8 hours to fully charge a
completely discharged NiCd battery pack
Display while ventilator is turned off:
At room temperature, the ventilator can be operated for
approximately 6 hours with a fully charged NiCd
battery pack.
Near the end of battery capacity,
the following display will appear:
Approximately 10 minutes of operation remain at the
time of this message.
NOTE: Low ambient temperatures and the actual
condition of the rechargeable batteries may reduce
operating times, see "Technical Data" page 54.
Operation with alkaline batteries
With battery holder 18 35 505
Only use alkaline batteries, type IEC LR6 (AA size)
Undo screw in lid of battery compartment (use coin)
and remove lid.
