Resuscitation Precautions (AutoBreath™ Infant Resuscitator)
NOTE:
Read ALL resuscitation precautions before operating the AutoBreath Infant Resuscitator.
WARNING:
For MU11372, Patient Outlet 2 Gas Supply Pressure is internally limited to 3.9 kPa
(40 cmH
2
O). Always use a patient resuscitation circuit that includes appropriate pressure relief.
Failure to do so could result in personal injury or equipment damage.
WARNING:
For MU11374, Patient Outlet 2 Gas Supply Pressure is internally limited to 15.7 kPa
(160.1 cmH2O). Always use a patient resuscitation circuit that includes appropriate pressure
relief. Failure to do so could result in personal injury or equipment damage.
WARNING:
The AutoBreath™ Infant Resuscitator (option) is intended for use by qualified clinical personnel
only. These instructions must be read before using the equipment. Failure to do so could result
in patient injury or equipment damage.
WARNING:
When setting the PEEP control, always start with the knob fully counterclockwise to avoid
setting the PEEP above the maximum pressure limit. Failure to do so could result in patient
injury.
WARNING:
Do not leave the patient unattended when using the AutoBreath resuscitation module. Patient
injury could occur.
WARNING:
Always confirm the airway pressure relief valve setting before patient use. Failure to do so could
result in patient injury.
WARNING:
Excessive air pressure could cause injury to the patient lungs. Always monitor the airway
pressure, and provide appropriate pressure release during resuscitation.
Suction Precautions
WARNING:
Only qualified clinical personnel must use the suction capability provided on the Resuscitaire
Radiant Warmer. Before using the equipment, read the instructions. Failure to do so could result
in patient injury.
