Note To reconf igure port P4 for LAN use, go t o [WAN] > [General
Setup] > [WAN2] and set t he Enable opt ion t o No.
Once t he rout er has been rest art ed t o apply t he change, t he
port will operat e in LAN mode.

This connect ion met hod will t ypically be used wit h a modem such as t he Vigor
130 VDSL2 modem, which passes t hrough t he PPPoE connect ion f rom t he ISP t o
t he rout er.
1. Go t o [WAN] > [Internet Access]
First ly set t he WAN2 Access Mode t o PPPoE, t hen click t he Details Page but t on
t o proceed:
2. In t he PPPoE set t ings t ab:
Select t he Enable radio but t on at t he t op of t he page t o ensure t hat t he PPPoE
int erf ace is enabled.
Input t he username int o t he Username f ield and password in t he Password f ield,
as required. The Service Name does not need t o be specif ied.
If your ISP has provided a st at ic IP address, t hat can be specif ied by set t ing t he
Fixed IP set t ing t o Yes and ent ering t he IP in t he Fixed IP Address field.
