your session dat a cannot be int ercept ed. Wit hout t hat pref ix, your dat a passes in
clear t ext .
You may get a warning f rom your browser (IE, Chrome, Edge, Saf ari et c. ) about
your server (t he rout er) having an invalid cert if icat e. Your browser will demand
furt her confirmat ion or except ion before allowing access. The warnings will look
somet hing like t hese examples.
