1.7 Managing Capacity (Drive Space)
In order to protect your data from drive failure, your Drobo device requires more drive space, or
capacity, than what you will use for your data, sometimes as much as double or more the amount of
space.
You may need to calculate how much capacity you need for your Drobo device in order to ensure
your data is protected. You may also be ready to add or remove capacity, or install or remove an
mSATA SSD.
