5 DALMx000 – programming and commissioning
In the EasyWebManager web portal you can create and save your programming configurations for
DALMx000 and when the device is then installed at the end user, it can be programmed and commissioned
from PC, tablet or simply by using a smartphone app, the Dualtech EWM 2.0.
5.1 Quick guide for programming and commissioning DALMx000
1. Create programming configuration in the web portal https://ewm.dualtech.se
2. Install a SIM card in sim card holder, NOTE: If a card other than a Dualtech SECURE SIM is
to be used, SIM PIN code must be switched off
3. Power up the device and wait for the LEDs to transfer to ”Ready for programming” mode
4. Log into the EasyWebManager portal via PC or mobile app and select desired configuration
5. Select Program followed by Commission from PC, tablet or mobile app
The device is now programmed, commissioned and ready to use. You can then check the status of the
device at any time via the "Retrieve status" button, or make changes either directly in the app or via the
web portal. Once you have made a change to a configuration, reprogram the device as usual.
NOTE: The Dualtech EWM 2.0 app can be downloaded free of charge from Appstore (iPhone), Google Play
(Android) or Windows Store (Windows)
System and alarm centre checklist
Alarm transfer via IP means that the alarm transmitter must have access to the Internet, either wirelessly
via GPRS/3G or via both GPRS/3G and fixed network connection. Check the following points before going
out to the installation:
• Contact and inform the IT department that an IP alarm transmitter is to be connected to
the network. If the device is to be programmed with static IP values, order IP addresses for
the alarm transmitter such as a default gateway and subnet mask for the relevant network.
NOTE: DALMx000 also supports DHCP, which means that the transmitter can automatically
retrieve information when connecting to the local network.
• Ensure that the correct ports, i.e. relevant receiver ports at the alarm receiving centre, in
any firewalls are opened for outgoing traffic via TCP/IP.
• Contact the alarm receiving centre and request:
- Primary and secondary IP address and IP port to the alarm receiver,
- Transmitter code and password for DALMx000 and
- Heartbeat frequency for communication monitoring that is to be used in the system.
Establish which APN applies to the selected mobile operator (programmed at creation of the configuration
in the web portal).
