In order for TCP/IP alarms to work, the following must be programmed into DALMx000
For fixed Internet
1. IP address* that is to be used DALMx000 in the local network it is connected to.
2. Default gateway* in the local network DALMx000 is connected to.
3. Subnet mask* for the local network DALMx000 is connected to.
4. IP parameters from the alarm receiver: transmitter ID, password and heartbeat rate.
* Alternatively, DHCP can be activated in DALMx000, which means that the device itself retrieves IP
parameters during connection to the local network.
For GPRS/3G
1. If a card other than a Dualtech M2M is to be used, PIN code must be switched off in the card.
2. Correct APN (Access Point Name) for actual SIM operator
2.2 SMS type alarms
NOTE: Not available with Dualtech SECURE SIM. In this case, messaging is enabled via the
EasyWebManager web portal.
DALMx000 can send SMS type alarms to any receiver number. SMSs are only sent via the GPRS/3G
module, i.e. not via fixed Internet. The receiver list defines receivers of the SMS type during system
programming and with a mobile phone number as receiver address. When an input that has been
connected to the receiver has been activated, an SMS text message is sent to the receiver. The message is
made up of the parameters that are stored in DALMx000 during system programming according to:
Object ID, Input label
Input text
e.g.:
DALMx000, Input 1
Burglary
If an alarm is activated via analogue alarm from the connected dialler, the event code, area and any event
text from the dialler is also added, e.g.:
DALMx000, IN36 (Analogue SIA)
Bosch 7240 – SIA II
BA
Area : 0102
Section : 003
where 0102 = transmission area and 003 = section.
For SMS alarms to work the following is required:
1. An active SIM card has been placed in the device. PIN code must be switched off in the SIM card.
2. The device must be positioned within GSM coverage
